How-To claim your Vanity Google+ URL

I am very new to Google+, but I found a way to claim my unique short Google+ URL. Follow these simple instructions and it will work for you.

First find your Google+ account USER ID

Then you need to goto to register your name. (see below)

Hopefully this helps. If this helped you out add me to your Google+ Circle

Right now you cannot even sign up for Google Plus, it was shut down today to new applications!!!  Guess they need to iron out a few more bugs???

@Christine did you grab the G+ ID and paste in the entry field on the right? is where you want to be.

Interesting... I did this, and it works great. Surely Google will offer vanity names just the same (at some point).

Yep... it's definitely all over the map right now. Some things working, some things not - things shifting around.

For those of you who aren't sure yet, google + is going to be THE one stop business solution, replacing facebook, yelp and many more. We're now focusing our virtual tours to be optimized for google and have even added the g+ button - have a look:

Here's our new Gpus link - thanks Mike!

I've had a G+ account for a while and never knew this.  Thanks!

I tried and it says I "can't use special characters"  I've written my Nickname as my actual name, no spaces, and copied by link from above in the space for User ID and it doesn't like that.  Any tips?
